1. Meeting Global Challenges: Global Citizenship

Global citizenship has been discussed as offering a possible path to a world where people are concerned not only with problems and challenges in their immediate environment, but also with those who transcend geographical and political boundaries. (See Un Chronicle on global citizenship)

This theme was approved by ICNGO in December 2018 for the organization of an NGO-UNESCO Forum to be held in 2020. The preliminary note of this forum is attached.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather the proposals and experiences of NGOs, and in particular to involve in the preparation of this forum and its programme NGOs which cannot participate in the work taking place at UNESCO headquarters.
