2026 Sunderland Marine Young Fisher of the Year Award Nomination |
Thank you for taking the time to nominate a young fisher!
This award celebrates a young fisher who:
- is under 35 years old and
- has demonstrated skill and commitment to succeed with a determination to further advance their career in the fishing industry.
Other industry contributions such as board roles or community support are not required, but will be looked upon favourably.
Nominations close at 5pm on Wednesday 29 April 2026.
The award will be presented at the New Zealand Federation of Commercial Fishermen's annual conference in Te Whanganui a Tara Wellington on 28 May 2026.
