Volunteer Orientation

Welcome to the online Volunteer Orientation Presentation.

Thank you very much for volunteering for Pinellas County. We hope your experience with us will be both enjoyable and rewarding. Our volunteers do not replace employees; rather, these efforts add support for the county departments and expand services to the public.

This presentation will take about 15 minutes of your time. As you read through the orientation, you will be asked to verify that you understand specific areas of the orientation. If you do not verify that you do understand, you will not be able to go on to the next section which will mean that you cannot complete the orientation online.

You will receive your Volunteer Handbook from either your site coordinator or your direct supervisor. This presentation is taken directly from that handbook.
