October 22, 2012 - AFI and Small Credit Unions: Helping Families Build Assets
AFI and Small Credit Unions: Helping Families Build Assets - Monday, October 22, 1:00 PM ET
Credit unions can play a variety of roles in delivering an AFI project to their members. They can act as financial institution partners to existing AFI projects, they can become sub-grantees of AFI network projects, or they can apply for funding to begin their own AFI project. This webinar will introduce the AFI program and the current field of grantees, describe the ways credit unions can become involved and the benefits to their members, and highlight the experience of a small credit union in Chattanooga, Tennessee which is currently operating an AFI project.
This webinar is targeted to credit unions interested in learning about AFI. If you represent a different type of organization, please consider one of the other Outreach webinars considered for fall 2012, at http://idaresources.org/page?pageid=a047000000IarHCAAZ.
