Introduction to the Leeds Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA)
The concept:
The ATA is proposed specifically for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and will employ an apprentice on your behalf for the duration of their learning contract or for the specified duration agreed with you. We will conduct a recruitment process for you, provide you with health & safety advice and support through Leeds City College, or any other learning providers, implement a supervision plan for the apprentice and provide a payroll service.
You will provide the apprentice with work and the relevant on-the-job experience so that they can complete their trade and vocational qualifications.
The ATA will ask you to pay the apprentice's weekly wage, a management charge of 15% plus a one off joiners' fee per new recruit.
