Dear Sir or Madam,

We need your input with our research study about current practices on ethical conduct among cost estimators in the U.S. construction industry.

Your answers to our survey questionnaire are very important to us. We hope that by collecting a wide variety of opinions, including yours, we will gain a representative picture across the United States. There are no right or wrong answers – we are simply interested in what you think about the different factors that may affect the behavior of individuals who work for construction companies. The purpose of this study is to better understand the how professionals feel about ethics in general, training to handle ethical situations, and opportunities for building the next generation of ethical professionals.

Your information and responses are strictly confidential and will only be used such that no respondent can be personally identified. This research has been approved by the Institutional Review Board for research involving human subjects of Catholic University of America.

As a token of gratitude for your time, a $100 (one hundred dollars) reward will be raffled among all respondents who complete the survey. We will send it by mail when the study is finished. By completing the survey and returning it with the signed informed consent form, you acknowledge your voluntary participation and that your responses can be used anonymously in data analysis.

If you have questions about this study, please feel free to email us anytime at lucko@cua.edu.
