The development of the Australian Government Grants System, known as grants.gov.au, was announced in the 2013–14 Budget. Once developed, grants.gov.au will provide a whole-of-government grants advertising, notification, application and lodgement system. It will be a single point of reference for government entities and grant applicants, similar to AusTender, the Government’s procurement system. Agencies will also publish summary information on granting awarded, similar to what they do now on their own individual websites.

To inform the development of the grants.gov.au system, a scoping study is being undertaken with an expected completion date of 1 July 2014. Development and implementation of the system will occur by 2016.

The Australian Government is committed to reducing red-tape for potential grant recipients. As part of the grants.gov.au scoping study, the Department of Finance is seeking feedback from potential grant recipients. Your participation in this questionnaire is greatly appreciated and will assist in creating a system that reduces red-tape and is fit for purpose.

This survey relates to grants received from the Australian Government. Funding from State, local or business sources should not be included or considered in your answers.
