Welcome.

Welcome to the 'Stocktaking Landscape Initiatives work by FAO and Partners' survey.

The aim of this survey is to stocktake the landscape/territorial interventions, projects and initiatives which are planned, being implemented or have been finalized and documented by the FAO and its partner organizations.

This survey is part of a process started by the FAO Natural Resources Management and Environment Department (NR) to:
• identify, raise awareness, and share experiences and lessons learned on landscape/ territorial approaches by FAO with partners;
• identify opportunities for improved synergies among the diverse interventions and approaches on landscape/territorial and integrated ecosystem planning/management /development (i.e. to reduce duplication of efforts and to gain greater impact in contributing to the three pillars of sustainable development); and
• develop a strategy and collaborative processes for strengthening support to countries and partners in this regard.

We welcome an active response from relevant FAO technical/officers, project staff and your direct partners to strengthen this important information gathering and review process.

This should take no more than 10 minutes. Please complete this yourself if you are very familiar with relevant interventions or send it to project managers, focal points, or technical personnel to request their contribution by: July 31, 2013.
